Diary Entry 9💋

Thankyou so much for your submission!

Oh my gosh, this is such a relatable feeling! Starting uni can be both exciting and scary. You’re suddenly surrounded by new faces, routines, and places, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about making friends at first!!! Try to remember that most people are in the same boat and are feeling just as nervous, even if they don’t show it!! Making friends can take abit of trial and error, you may click with some people and not with others, and that’s totally okay!! Keep putting yourself out there, be authentic, be patient and be confident!! Sit next to new people in lectures, chat with your flatmates, join societies or clubs that genuinely interest you, explore local coffee shops/ social areas and events, or go to things alone (be safe ofc!!) and try to talk to new people.

The key is to keep living your life and doing the things that make you happy, the right people will find you!! And don’t forget to say in touch with friends from home, they can be a great source of comfort while you’re finding your footing at uni. It might take a little time, but you’ll find your people, I promise!!💋
